Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv Nazareth

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, you will be met by a representative, assisted through customs and transferred to your hotel in Nazareth.
Overnight: Nazareth.

Day 2: Nazareth - Cana - Mt Tabor

Breakfast in the hotel, then start the day with a visit to the Annunciation Church in Nazareth "the announcement of the Angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary of the approaching virgin birth" (Luke 1:26-38). Visit the St. Joseph the Carpenter Church, believed to have been built over the holy family's workshop, visit Mary's Well & Springs - the site of the Annunciation. Travel to Cana to visit the Church of Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle "the transformation of water into wine" (John 2:1-11, 4:46-54). Then drive to Mt. Tabor, the site of the transfiguration of Jesus Christ (Matthew 17:1-9, Mark 9:2-8, Luke 9:28-36). Return to Nazareth.
Overnight: Nazareth.

Day 3: Mt of Beatitudes - Tabgha - Sea of Galilee

Breakfast in the hotel, then travel to Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-8). Visit Tabgha on the north-western shore of the Sea of Galilee, traditionally accepted as the place of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes (Mark 6:30-46) and the fourth resurrection appearance of Jesus (John 21:1-24) after his Crucifixion. Travel to the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter Primacy which allegedly marks the spot of Jesus' reinstatement of Peter as chief among the apostles. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee before continuing on to Capernaum where Jesus lived and healed the sick, preaching in the synagogue and performing miracles (Matthew 9:1, 4:13). Finally, visit the House of Peter where Jesus is believed to have lived. Back to Nazareth.
Overnight: Nazareth.

Day 4: Haifa - Caesarea - Tel Aviv (Jaffa) - Jerusalem

Taking the Kings' Highway, an ancient caravan route to see Mt. Nebo. Here God showed Moses the Holy Land before he died. From the lookout Following breakfast and check-out, we drive to the beautiful City of Haifa, ascending Mt. Carmel to enjoy a panoramic view over the Bay, then on to visit Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery at the top and the Cave of Alia (Elijah's Cave) at the base. Visit Muhraka, the Hanging Gardens of the Bahai' Shrine, through Meggido, then proceed to Caesarea to visit the Water Aqueduct and the Roman Theatre, Hippodrome and Crusader fortress. We drive to Tel Aviv, the commercial capital of Israel, then on to Jaffa to visit Peter's Church, the House of Simon the Tanner, the Old City and port of Jaffa before heading to Jerusalem. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Old City before checking-in to your hotel.
Overnight: Jerusalem.

Day 5: Mt. of Olives - Mt. Zion - Ein Karem - Bethlehem

Our first stop this morning is the Mt. of Olives. We visit the Church of the Ascension, Pater Noster Church, the Dominos Flevit Church where Jesus wept over Jerusalem, then continue on to the Garden of Gethsemane. Next we visit Mt. Zion to see the St. Peter in Gallicantu, then King David's Tomb and the Upper Room, Dormiton Abbey. At Ein Karem we visit St John the Baptist Church and the Church of Visitation (Luke 1:39-56). We travel to Bethlehem to visit the Nativity Church - the birth place of Jesus Christ, Milk Grotto and finally Shepherd's Field, before returning to your hotel.
Overnight: Jerusalem.

Day 6: Walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem

Breakfast in the hotel then we enter the Old City of Jerusalem from Dung Gate to visit the Walling Wall. See the Area of the Mosque built on Mt. Moriah (Temple Mount), then walk the traditional Way of the Cross (the 14 Stations of the Cross). View the Holy Sepulcher Church and the Empty Tomb of Jesus Christ.
Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 7: Bethany - Jericho - Dead Sea

After breakfast in the hotel, we drive to Bethany to visit the House of Mary & Martha, and the Tomb of Lazarus. Next we travel to Jericho, the oldest town in the Holy Land. Visit the Sycamore Tree (Zacharious the tax collector climbed the tree to view Jesus) and view Mt. of Temptation. Then on to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, over 420m below sea level. Lie back and read a magazine as you can float on the surface of the water, 7 times saltier than regular seawater and full of minerals which provide therapeutic remedies to many skin ailments. Return to your hotel.
Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 8: Departure

Check out from your hotel and transfer to Ben Guiron Airport for your departure flight.
